Black History Month Meditation - Rest. Remember. Reimagine is an intentional community gathering rooted in meditation, reflection, and collective care.
This evening invites us to slow down together, set shared intentions, and experience the grounding power of presence and belonging. In a world that often asks us to move quickly and carry a lot, this space is an offering to pause — together.
Whether you are new to meditation or have an established practice, you are welcome exactly as you are.
What to Expect
Opening welcome & community agreements
Guided meditation instruction
Meditation & dharma talk in a circle format
Space for personal and collective intention-setting
Tea and light snacks
LUSH gift bag draw
Photographers on site
This is a circle-based experience that centers listening, respect, and shared presence.
Our Intention
To gather safely, in wholeness
To recognize ourselves and one another in this moment
To create a high-visibility space where we are not always seen
To offer a meaningful experience of belonging
To encourage connection — we want to meet you, and we want you to meet each other
Together, we rest.
Together, we remember.
Together, we reimagine.

We offer this acknowledgment with gratitude and humility, recognizing the ongoing presence, stewardship, and resilience of Indigenous peoples on this land. As we gather in community, we hold respect for the histories, teachings, and responsibilities that come with being on these territories.
