Join us this summer for our Growing Together: “Garden Walking Tour” Presented by Afro Van Connect and Black Space Media INC in partnership with the Museum of Vancouver and the Vancouver Maritime Museum. On Saturday Aug 23, 2025, and September 14th, 2025, at 1pm we will be facilitating a walking tour amplifying the history and culture of Afro-Indigenous farmers, land practices, and culturally relevant foods.

The Black Spaces Symposium unites artists, activists, professionals, and educators within the African Descent community to honour our heritage, inspire the future, and build strong community connections. The symposium invites all participants to explore new approaches and modalities that will inspire all of us to activate, mobilize, and create the change we want to see.
